Elizabeth King's New Book "The Darkness Deep Within" is a Thrilling Psychological Tale That Pits a Young Couple Against a Cold Blooded Killer

Elizabeth King, a gifted writer with incredible insight, has completed her most recent book “The Darkness Deep Within”:  a thrilling and engaging novel of suspense and intrigue that leads the reader on a non-stop ride of emotion and mystery.

The author’s studying of her step father’s abnormal behavior and the lack of emotions when he shot her mother and killed a man, brought her to the realization  that he was a ‘Cold-Headed Sociopath. He was charming, and very intelligent, and his moods would change from happy to violent in a matter of seconds.  Elizabeth says that, “Living with a sociopath is what inspired me to write this book.”

Published by Fulton Books, Elizabeth King’s book follow the story of Phil and Angie who shared the same dream of living in Northern Michigan.  When Art Johnson put his deceased uncle’s land up for sale, Phil jumped on it right away. When they ask Art if they could look at the property, Art can’t wait to show them. The first time they set their eyes on it, Phil and Angie of course fall in love with the place right away. The cabin is surrounded by tall pine trees and wildflowers. Art’s mission is to get rid of the property as quickly as he can so he never has to set his eyes on it ever again.

After months of necessary repairs and remodeling, Phil and his family can finally move in. When Phil is offered the job of a lifetime, he can hardly believe his luck. The family seems to have everything they ever wanted, or so they think. Then one night an ominous figure decides to pay them an unwelcome visit. He lurks in the shadows, watching their every move. The dark figure returns night after night to watch them and to figure out how he can get them to leave.

Phil, Angie, and their children become pawns in a very dangerous game, and they soon learn why Art was so anxious to sell his uncle’s property. When women start to vanish, Sheriff Bob Stiles calls his friend, Homicide Detective Andy Morris to help him solve this mystery.
