Ruth Blowers-Marquart's New Book "The Adventures of Rusty Lugnut" is a Story of a Lugnut Who Isn't the Shiniest in the Toolbox, but Still an Important Part of the Team.

Ruth Blowers-Marquart, a child advocate and gifted author, has completed her most recent book “The Adventures of Rusty Lugnut”:  an engaging children’s story that shares the author’s love of racing with a desire to teach children about acceptance, patience, and teamwork.

Ruth says, “I am very proud to have my nephew Michael Penta on board as the book’s illustrator and creator of the Rusty character. He worked diligently to match picture to words and included some illustrations reminiscent of his grandparents (my parents) who have passed on but would be delighted to know of our labor of love.”

Published by Fulton Books, Ruth Blowers-Marquart’s book is about a lovable character named Rusty Lug Nut, who teaches a valuable lesson.

Rusty looks different than the other lug nuts in the toolbox. He isn’t shiny and new, but he is a vital part of the race team. He is a team player, and when he doesn’t get chosen to help Ronnie’s wheels go round and round and faster and faster, he still cheers for the race car and the other lug nuts. This book is about racing, but also patience and acceptance, as well as team work.

Readers who wish to experience this delightfully charming work can purchase “The Adventures of Rusty Lugnut” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
