Todd Harrington's New Book 'My Friend the Moon' is a Sweet and Simple Children's Story That Celebrates Friendship and Childhood Innocence

Todd Harrington, a successful New York advertising executive, has completed his most recent book “My Friend the Moon”:  a charming and warm children’s book that illustrates how making friends doesn’t have to be difficult.  Friends can be found most anywhere if someone is only willing to look.

Todd says, “One day I decided to turn my playful writing style to the world of children’s books. I choose to write primarily around subjects involving nature, such as trees, the moon, water, animals and more, because of their importance in our everyday lives, and because I prefer to be outdoors whenever possible.”

Published by Fulton Books, Todd Harrington’s book follows the exploits of young Lily. Lily always looks at the world around her with joy and wonder, and she’s at that young age when making friends is so important. However, it isn’t always easy to make friends, except when it comes to the Moon.

It all starts one clear night when Lily goes outside for a walk with her dog and notices the big, bright moon following loyally above her. And from there, a magical friendship begins.

The beautiful watercolor illustration were drawn by Anneliese Voigt-Peters, an award-winning illustrator from South Africa, now living in the US.

Readers who wish to experience this heartwarming work can purchase “My Friend the Moon” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
